automatic installation of OWAtray
Hi,
I'm pretty new here.
We currently use an older version of OWAtray for our customer care users without Microsoft office.
This old version 1.1 was always installed in c:\program files.
Regrettably, the new version always tries to install into the %appdata% folder.
Is that as designed?
I want to rollout the version 3.1 automatically to our customer care users and would like to have the software installed into the c:\program files folder.
Is there any chance, I can do that?
Are there rollout informations for automatical installations of this really great tool?
Kind Regards from germany

Re: automatic installation of OWAtray
You can try the following command-line switch.
- Code:
/D=dir

Hi,
Thank you for your fast response.
Yes version 1.1 is rather old and now we are "
finally"
updating our Exchange to 2010 SP2
Ok, I tried it with c:\program files, but there is another issue.
I can't select any settings anymore, because a normal user doesn't have editing rights on the xml files there.
Looks like, I need to install it ito the Userprofiles.
