Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS
Hi,
I've finaly found this wonderfull tool, because I don't like running outlook or IE all the time, because they are a real system resource hogs.
Now I'm trying to make it work, installed it, put in the required information but when I connect, I get an error:
- Error: Request failed. The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel
- Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.ServiceRequestException: Request failed. The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel. --->
System.Net.WebException: the underlying connection was closed: Could
My system has installed:
- windows 7
- IE8
- OWA S/MIME 8.1.348.0
- .NET v3.5.30729.4926
- OWAtray 1.1.3936.31211
Our mail server is:
- Exchange server 2007
- Outlook Web Access version: 8.1.340.0
- Microsoft Exchange Client Access server version: 8.1.240.0
- Mailbox server Microsoft Exchange version: 8.1.240.0
For accessing OWA through web browser i don't need any certificate. My username for logging in through browser is username and not like name.surname@companyname.xxx, I also don't use domain credentials.
Can you please help me configure OWA tray, I'm strugling for quite some time now.
Best regards, Jan

Re: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS
Hi, I solved the problem.
Firstly, we had security certificates issued for viewing OWA, I've added them to Trusted root Certification Authorities.
Then the Error code changed to: Error. Request failed. The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized
So I've checked the forum and found solution steps for this here: [url=http:
//owatray.
phpbb3now.
com/viewtopic.
php?f=2&
t=19:24hl8]401 Unauthorized error[/url:24hl8]
First I've overrided the exchange URL and got an URL property error. Then fixed the url back to default address. Next I've tried to override the certificate in Advanced ->
Override certificate and deleted the domain, saved config, stop, start and it started working!
Thank you for this elegant app, it made my day when it started working.
Best regards, Jan
