This mailbox can't be opened

Hi, program is working as far as notifications but if I double click or use the menu to Open OWA I can get the Login page for OWA but after logging in I get the below error. Now if I'm already logged in I get the error right away, no loging page. I will also get this error with the shell integration handling emails.

It sounds like OWAtray may be wrongly guessing your SMTP address.
When it starts it should display a line like, "
Using user account x@y.z"


Double-check that this is the email address that is recognised by your Exchange system for your account.

If it is wrong, then override the address by entering the correct version in the field labelled '@'.

Ok, my user name and email are diffrent, made the change and the event details shows that it is now using the correct user account email address but I still get the same error. Still get my notifications so it is connecting correctly.

Does it matter that I'm running Exchange 2010 SP1?

No, Exchange 2010 Sp1 should be fine.

OK, let's look at the URL that OWAtray is feeding to IE. It should still be in the address bar at the top of the browser. Can you take a copy and paste it here. If you'd rather take this offline then email me at support@owatray.com

Sent you an email with the URL when you tell the program to open OWA and when I clicked on the email address.

Will post result here when resolved.

Turns out the user had a typo in his name. The solution offered in post #2 solved the problem.
