Synchronization
My suggestion is if it's possible to create your soft synchronization with computer or AD, because if I change password, I must to open the OWA Tray Monitor settings and change data there too... I think it could be much easier if I can forget about OWA Tray Monitor configuration after I install it on PC " title="Smile" />

Re: Synchronization
Hi it’s me again with my suggestions. " title="Smile" /> Yesterday I tested you new version with my previous suggestion, about automatically synchronization, but after I change my password and restart the PC, he wrote, “ Not connected to exchange”. " title="Sad" /> I thought he would use IWA (Integers Windows authentication). And in OWA tray monitor, I just need to write server address and domain. I think it could be much easier, install and configured once and later you don’t have to change nothing, because if this PC use several users, you don’t have to explain where and what to change. He just LogOn and everything is working! J What do you think about that?
And again thanks for the great soft, it really make easy user life…

Re: Synchronization
Monk, if you tick the new 'On Domain' box then the software will use the currently logged in Windows Credentials (i.e. user, pass &
domain) to connect with. The mail server is obviously still needed to tell it where to connect to. In this scenario, changing your Windows password then logging out &
back in should work without any mods.
If you do change to this configuration, then be sure to press 'Save' to store the new settings.
Other things to point out:
(1) Installing a new version of OWAtray will reset all the settings. I may at some stage look to modify this in the future but there are so few settings this is not a priority.
(2) OWAtray is configurable on a per-user basis.
Let me know if this information helps any?

Re: Synchronization
Thx, this information helps me a lot. I created some modification in OWAtray.exe.config. (I hope you don’t mind) Now OWAtray.exe.config, look likes this:
“………

After that I create self-extrator, which extract all files in place, which I choose. And now everything is working. Thanks again for a great soft. Tested on 2 PC.. " title="Very Happy" />

Re: Synchronization
neogun, thanks for using OWAtray.
Do you mean that you would like a fresh installation of OWAtray to default to being 'on domain' ?
Otherwise, clicking the 'on domain' button then pressing 'Save' will ensure that from now on OWAtray will use that setting.

Re: Synchronization
neogun, if you set NetworkCredentials to "
Yes"
in the cfg file then this will work.
However, this will not work if the settings have already been saved as the cfg file simply acts as a template until the first time things are saved. And of course you would not have an installer!
I would be willing to build you a customised version that did this for you for a small fee. Please email me at the support address if this is of interest.

Re: Synchronization
You can't, it's not a setting;
when the option is checked a shortcut is created in the 'Startup' folder.
This is done explicitly to avoid any need to modify the registry (which I hate).
