Re: Proxy Authentication Required
Thanks for posting.
Is your organisation using ISA or similar as a proxy server/firewall?
Can you access Outlook Web Access using a browser from the same PC your are running OWAtray on?

Re: Proxy Authentication Required
Hello,
I have the same problem, Proxy Authentication Required (407). I can work via OWA in a normal way. I have checked the box "
Display a notification when new e-mail items arrive"
but this is not working.
Looking forward to hear from you
Kind regards
Fred

Unfortunately I don't have a server with ISA installed so can't test with that configuration.
Exchange Web Services have a different entry point to the server from standard OWA so your sysadmin may need to route inbound traffic through the firewall for it.
The field labelled, 'Exchange URL' will show you the URL in question.
Let me know how things go.

Re: Proxy Authentication Required
I'm having the same problem attempting to use OWA Tray Monitor from work with [url=http:
//www.
microsoft.
com/online/exchange-online.
aspx:litjk]Microsoft Online Services[/url:litjk]. My company employs a corporate proxy that occasionally requires authentication before requests are allowed through. In a browser, this shows up as a basic authentication popup. Entering your username and password for our local domain allows you access for an unknown period of time based on a mysterious set of rules. Direct access to the internet (bypassing the proxy) is unavailable. Is there any way you could build full proxy support into OWA Tray Monitor? If you need any more information, feel free to inquire.
Thanks!
Chris

Re: Proxy Authentication Required
Chris, can you confirm that IE on your workstation is configured to use your desired proxy settings and is working correctly.
As I do not set a specific proxy setting in OWAtray, the application should inherit the settings configured in IE, and *just work*
Regards.
