Alternate Exchange URL
My school does not use the default exchange URL. I receive a 404 error when I visit the automatically generated URL in your program. Is it possible to input your server's URL? The format is Https://mail.server.com/exchange

Re: Alternate Exchange URL
Hi,
The mechanism used, EWS, doesn't go through the normal OWA entry point so modifying it wouldn't do you any good.
Exchange 2007 SP1 should set up a /EWS virtual directory on your school web server by default. Please check with your sysadmin that this is the case and it is accessible from external sources.

Re: Alternate Exchange URL
My company also does not use the default URL. In fact they have a special subdomain setup mail.xxxx.com. It's a shame I can't use this tool just because part of the URL is hard coded. It is not reasonable to ask my system administrator to change the exchange server setup just so I can use a notification tool, they would laugh at me for even asking. Also, many, many companies will purposely not use the default url for security purposes. Please consider changing this in the next version.
